This splendid villa sits amid 3 acres of lush green foliage at the top of a headland overlooking the Caribbean Sea at the entrance of Marigot Bay, set of the movie Doctor Dolittle, with Rex Harrison, has been defined as the most beautiful bay of the Caribbean by James A Michener. All year round, Marigot Bay is the home of dozens of sailboats which choose this tropical lagoon as one of the nicest natural anchorages in the Caribbean.
Classic Caribbean architecture blends with European refinement in the four buildings that make up this luxurious estate. Guests will be treated to stunning views of the coast line, the turquoise Caribbean Sea and sailing boats that dot the horizon. The lush wide tropical garden is animated by charming paths, leading directly to the cozy little bay with its secluded beach from where you can reach the large wild beach of Roseau.
A covered patio of rich hardwood surrounds much of the house. Lounge chairs and a hammocks present tempting options for breezy afternoons spent under its eaves. A large deck faces the immense 65 ft pool, where you can soak up the sun, encircled by a tropical lawn and palms. An impressive wooden bridge crosses over the pool to the sunset gazebo. Gather your guests around its 14 person’s glass table at dusk and watch the sun set on another perfect day. A brick pizza oven is found on a private patio off the kitchen. Also a professional Barbecue is available to allow you cooking succulent grilled meat or fish.
The open-concept living room/dining room is a sight to behold. Columns, vaulted ceilings, wood-paneled flooring, high level design, ornaments and soft sofas make it half-cathedral, half-pleasure dome. Settle into a settee and enjoy a movie on the flat screen TV. When dinner is ready guests can gather around the large custom wood dining table. Chef service is available five days a week, but the professionally appointed kitchen may inspire you to take matters into your own hands.
This villa seven bedrooms are spread among three cottages and an apartment each with its own wet bar and sitting area. Every room is individually fitted with fine linens, custom and antique furnishings as well as beautiful louver windows and sliding doors directly opening to the sea view. Colorful private gardens and decks flank the cottages and every bedroom has an en-suite bathroom adorned with quality materials and fixtures.
Each cottage has a main bedroom and a capacity of up two people in each bedroom, all rooms get their own bathroom and are separated by a central wet bar.
The little apartment (Traveler Tree) also has its bathroom and allows a direct passage to the main common leaving.
The names of the cottages and apartment are given according to the flowers or plant close to them.

Use of a 33 ft speedboat twice a week ( Tuesday and Thursday) is included in the rental of this villa. The boat has two 275 HP engines with a cabin and shower. It can only be used under the captaincy of Skipper Ben and guests are expected to pay for the gas to run the boat. The boat will be filled at the beginning of the trip at the expense of the owners and at the end it will be filled in Marigot Bay and the guests are expected to pay for the gas at that time in cash. Guests use this facility at their own risk.
