This villa promises you an unforgettable, authentic stay in a truly undiscovered part of Italy. Relax and immerse yourself in Italian indulgence: the food, the people and the fun; the Villa sits majestically on the ancient Via Appia in the town of Terlizzi, just northwest of Bari in the region of Puglia.
No one is quite sure when the villa first sprung up but some historians believe the garden to have once been a 13th century monastic garden. The “farm” buildings on the property probably date to the 14th and 15th centuries. While the newest additions were probably built in the 17th or 18th centuries, one peculiar location in the villa is believed to be pre-Christian.
The land, filled with fossils from 10 million years ago, is covered by ancient olive groves, vineyards, and fruit trees. The entire villa is completely enclosed by an 18 ft. wall and features a formal half-acre garden planted almost exclusively with citrus trees, roses and lavender.
When we found the villa, it was in ruins. For years, we have painstakingly restored this historic villa to the beautiful home it is now. It features modern conveniences like free WiFi, a fully stocked kitchen, plus cooking and cleaning services.
The Villa is available for rentals by the day, week or longer. It is also available for private functions, parties, banquets, conferences and feasts. Here you'll have an unforgettable, authentic time in a truly special part of Italy. From wine tastings, cheese making, guided and unguided bike tours, to whatever kind of trip you like. And no matter what you decide to do, if to immerse in the beautiful neighboring towns, explore the countryside, or just sit by the pool.
Owners have a small apartment on the property and can be as hands-on or hands-off as you like, but they are always available to answer any questions and act as a concierge as needed.
In low season is possible to rent per room, please ask us about the rates.
During your stay, you have use of a washing machine, refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. Housekeeping and procurement services and kitchen are also available to make your experience more enjoyable. When not by the pool, you can enjoy a big screen TV, an extensive DVD collection, a library, table tennis and Wi-Fi throughout the villa.

The villa comes with a baby crib, towels and linens provided. Extra beds can be brought in if you are past capacity.
