Exclusive Bed and breakfast / posada overlooking the majestic Orinoco River just 20 minutes away from Puerto Ayacucho, Venezuela. It was designed in the style of the Piaroas Indian living in the area. This Lodge was built in 2005, respecting the indigenous traditions and the environment. It is located along the shore of the Orinoco River between the rapids of Maipures and Atures. Because of its large indigenous architectural style and splendid position directly on the river, is listed as one of the loveliest in Venezuela.
Staying at this lodge / posada is a good starting point for excursions into the Amazon jungle and boat trips along the Orinoco River. Places known as the "el tobogán de la selva” (slide of the Jungle) and the petroglyphs "Roca Pintada” (Painted Rock) are part of the tourist attractions of the place. We also offer the tour to Cerro Autana. Ask us about our specialized tours.
The rental prices quoted are per person per night in double room and excursions and all meals are included. The excursion to Cerro Autana has a different rate. We have the option of only half rate accommodation WITHOUT excursions. Contact us for additional information.
We have different plans for excursions. 5 days 4 nights to the Cerro Autana with all meals included. 4 days 3 nights including 3 excursions, sailing the majestic Rio Orinoco to the National Park Tuparro. Visit the Tobogán de la Selva where you can take rich baths in natural pools and jacuzzis. Also visit the Piedra de la Tortuga (Turtle Stone). We also have plans of 3 days 2 nights with visits to the Tobogán de la Selva, the Piedra Pintada, and a special excursion to the Cerro Autana where you can see the beautiful Tepuyes in all their splendor and spend the night in hammocks on an Indian camp.
