Situated in the historic walled center of the sea side city of Cartagena de Indias, we find the beautiful vacation house. It’s next to the residence of the famous author Gabriel García Márquez and a few meters from Hotel Santa Clara. Cartagena has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its unique architecture. The famous architect Alvaro Barrera re-designed the residence, preserving the special traditional characteristics and details whilst at the same time adding a modern twist.

This Villa in Cartagena is beautifully decorated and has three stories. On the first floor we have three fully equipped bedrooms which comfortably accommodate six people. On the second floor you will find a state-of-the-art kitchen with a handmade colonial style dining table and beautiful antique chairs that seat 12. With a 12 foot high ceiling and contemporary furniture the living room has a spacious feel to it and all the crafts and paintings come from local artisans. The third floor is a beautiful large garden terrace equipped with elegant comfortable furniture where you can enjoy the stunning sunsets. There is also a private pool, a gazebo area with a bar, a barbecue area and a cozy dining room that is perfect for relaxation. Parking has been increased with the construction of a semi-basement which has been possible due to fact that this area is the highest in the walled center.

Rental prices include long distance calls, Wifi access, cleaning services and chef service. The host must provide food for their preparation. Two free parking spaces are available in the building but need to be booked in advance. Many previous customers have preferred to walk or take a taxi. You only need a vehicle to leave the city, in this case we recommend renting.
