Our cozy luxury villa is situated in the center of Copacabana just three blocks from the world famous beach and a five minute walk from the Copacabana Palace Hotel. It is a newly constructed vacation house yet has the feel of a turn of the century villa with fine wood floors, shutters, fireplaces, and stonework. Yet, it has the features of an ultra modern facility - central air conditioning, electronics, security, wireless internet, fully equipped chef's kitchen, Jacuzzis and waterfall showers, and an atrium that opens to the sky at the push of a button.
The novel and picturesque vacation villa is unique and stands alone among the rental properties available in Rio de Janeiro. It is the only luxury villa that is centrally located, well staffed, yet priced at a fraction of the cost of even a modest hotel for the large travel group or family. It's in house services by the young and enthusiastic staff aim to make your vacation an event surpassing any other Rio experience.
This vacation rental makes an ideal home to a group of friends or couples or a large family who wants to vacation in a casual style and take many of their meals together at home. Because the villa is situated on a private lane of 15 family homes - the house is a quiet zone in late evening and security guards on the travessa restrict entrance to only our registered guests.
Breakfast is served in room for wake-up at guest request: Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, fresh sqeezed juice selection, fresh fruit and fresh fruit salad, yogurt, cereal and milk, bakery fresh breads and rolls, ham, chicken breast, cheese, butter and jams. At any time - guests can make themselves at home in the villa kitchen or poolside wood BBQ as it is their house. But please feel free to ask staff to help when you wish. We will help you prepare your dinner party.
The staff will help you at the local markets, prepare, serve, and clean up. With your grocery list - we can have the pantry and the bar stocked with the items you choose. Bear in mind many items from Europe and the USA are not common in Brazil, however, there’s a large and excellent outdoor farmers market two blocks away on Sunday and one seven blocks away on Thursday. There are fish peddlers, pork/chicken farmers, fruit, vegetables, flowers, cheeses, eggs and quite and exotic display of fresh ingredients.
Airport transfers are included.
The library can double as a guest room on rare occasions. It is a magnificent wood paneled space with working fireplace. It is closed off from the living and dining rooms by heavy wooden doors. It contains desk, sofa, club chairs, 100s of books, DVDs, and CDs and one of the house's two stereo systems. In the wood paneling behind one wall is a full size murphy bed. It makes a good place for a group that needs five private sleeping areas. It has use of the hall bath/shower or the public pool bath and shower on the third floor.We have added two small cabana bedrooms - each with two twin bunk beds, desk, closet and open to the garden area on the pool level. These are across the hall from the pool bath which has a shower and are very small rooms - similar to a ships cabin and are built in the old woods that are used in the Jacaranda Suite.
